India is a country which is famous for its cultural diversity and social heritage. Unfortunately, there are certain backward customs that are still practiced in villages like child marriage, honor rivalry and girl killing.
There are still cases like abortion, killing and rape which are on constant rise. Even in this modern era, there are still some illiterates who consider female child as a burden to whole family due to which rights of girls are always neglected.
That is why this campaign was launched to bring a positive change in the mindset of people. It was made with the aim to prevent female feticide, sex determination and killing of innocent girls.

Importance of Girls Education
The main question is that how can we expect a change in the condition of our country when we are the ones who are restricting our daughters to get education.
We need to understand the importance of girls’ education that if we do not allow our daughters get education then how will they survive in this world and how will they contribute to the progress of this country.
It is very important to realize that girls are not less than boys. They can do everything that boys are capable to do. There are many examples of our leaders who proved to this world that girls are in fact more capable than boys. Women like Indira Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Sarojini Naidu and Kiran bedi showed through their actions that they can aboard alongside men.
Conclusion
We should celebrate birth of a girl child and promote awareness of equality. If we do not be cautious today then there will be a day without women and new births.
Fortunately, this campaign has given us new hope that that day is not too far when there would be no rape, no illiteracy and no killing of girls in the name of honor.
