As you all know that children are the most beautiful part of this world. Every child is like a tender bud that starts to bloom. This is the very stage when each child need the utmost care, love and affection to bloom and grow.
The presence of children makes the home lovely and world a pleasant place. Children are the only source of happiness to all. There is none who dislikes children or is not attracted to children. If we will remove the children from this planet earth, the whole world will become boring and unattractive. The beauty of the world are the children. The innocent nature of the children leaves everyone spell bound and makes us attracted to them.
Meaning & Importance of Children’s Day
Let me tell you that God has bestowed children with a magic to conquer the hearts of everyone. Their touching smiles are worth surrendering. These children are not only the beauty of the world they are our future. The future of the country lies on their shoulders.
They are the real architect of the nation. Every year on 14th November children’s day is celebrated throughout the world specially in India to make a reasonable effort towards the welfare of children.
This day reminds us that they are our leaders of future. They must be educated soundly so that they take the reins of the nation in their hands and lead us to prosperity and progress.
This day was firstly commemorated by Jawaharlal Nehru on 14th November 1989. He is lovingly known as Chacha Nehru by children. He had immense love for children. He always advocated for the betterment and welfare of children and used to say that the children of the country are entitled to a fulfilled childhood and higher education.
He believed that education is the basic right of every child. Since the death of Nehru in 1964, this day is celebrated nationwide in India in the memory of Nehru’s abounding love towards children.
On this day all children become very happy and become spell bound to the celebrations organized for their bright future. They get inspired and motivated to study and work to help shoulder the burden of their families and nation.
Children become united and they start different campaigns on this event to eliminate child labor and encourage other children to join schools and to get education to succeed and excel in life. On this day book stalls are organized where inspirational and motivational books are placed for children so that they buy books and get inspired to study more.
On this event they are taught how to work in a good manner and discipline. The honor and discipline is inculcated in them because the greatness of the nation lies in the discipline in every filed of life. They are motivated to make earth green. On this day children plant new trees and try to their utmost to plant more trees to make earth a healthy place to live.
Apart from it on this occasion they learn to clean their surroundings. Cleanliness is very important for their health and for their atmosphere. On this day different cultural programs are arranged in schools in which children participate and present their born culture to promote their culture.
Dance, drama, poetry and singing competitions are organized to help boost their talent. They are rewarded with certificates and medals on their good performance. Indeed the children are the torchbearer of the future. Let’s cherish and adore the innocence of a child and make them happy and encourage them to study and excel in life. Let’s stand United to educate them and to not make them deprived of their childhood.
Someone has rightly said that children of today are the leaders of tomorrow. The way we bring them up will determine the future of the country. They are the roses in bud, when they will bloom will spread fragrance all around.
