Rabindranath Tagore’s Contribution to the Society

As a writer, I am also deeply influenced by Rabindranath Tagore’s life as a person. This Bengali writer loved his country, India, and worked to make it better. He played a key role in the Indian freedom struggle by speaking out against the British. In his writing, he attempted to bring about a revolution.

He was a member of a rich family, but he had a warm heart for the poor. He worked for the upliftment of the poor. He was very kind and gentle.
