Speech on Conservation of Nature For Children & Students

Greetings!

Respected elders and my dear friends,

I would like to speech on the conservation of nature at this great occasion. As we all know that nature is the most important thing for our life and its conservation is necessary for our future generations. Before starting the Speech on Nature Conservation, first of all, I would like to ask all of you, what is the meaning of nature?

Speech on Conservation of Nature

As we all know that nature is the most important thing for our life. It provides us air to breathe, food to eat, water to drink and many other things which are necessary for our survival. Not only this, but it also gives us a beautiful and lovely environment. We should conserve nature to keep all these benefits alive and to enjoy them in the future.

What is Conservation of Nature?

The conservation of nature means the preservation, protection, and improvement of the natural environment on earth. It is the movement that started in the late 19th century to protect our environment and save it from destruction. The main aim of conservation of nature is to maintain the ecological balance on earth so that we can live a healthy and peaceful life.

Why Nature Conservation is Important?

There are many reasons why conserving nature is important. Some of the most important reasons are mentioned below:

1. To Maintain the Ecological Balance:

The ecological balance is very important for the survival of all forms of life on earth. If this balance is disturbed, it can lead to many problems like global warming, climate change, soil erosion, and others. Therefore, it is necessary to conserve nature to maintain the ecological balance on earth.

2. To Preserve the Biodiversity:

Biodiversity is the variety of plant and animal life in an area. It is important to maintain the biodiversity because it helps in maintaining the balance in nature. If there is a decrease in the biodiversity, it can lead to problems like extinction of species and others. Therefore, it is necessary to conserve nature to preserve the biodiversity.

3. To Save the Natural Resources:

Natural resources like air, water, and soil are necessary for our survival. If we do not conserve them, they will get polluted and will become unfit for use. Therefore, it is necessary to conserve nature to save the natural resources.

4. To Prevent the Extinction of Species:

Many plants and animals have become extinct due to the destruction of their natural habitat. If we do not conserve nature, many more species will become extinct. Therefore, it is necessary to conserve nature to prevent the extinction of species.

5. To Protect the Environment:

The environment is the most important thing for our survival. If we do not conserve it, it will get polluted and will become unfit for living. Therefore, it is necessary to conserve nature to protect the environment.

What are the Threats to Nature?

There are many threats to nature. Some of the most important threats are mentioned below:

1. Pollution:

Pollution is the biggest threat to nature. It is the contamination of air, water, and soil by harmful substances. Pollution is caused by many things like industrial waste, vehicular emissions, and others. It leads to many problems like global warming, climate change, and others.

2. Deforestation:

Deforestation is another major threat to nature. It is the felling of trees without replanting them. Deforestation leads to many problems like soil erosion, climate change, and others.

3. Overgrazing:

Overgrazing is the grazing of animals on land beyond its carrying capacity. Overgrazing leads to many problems like soil erosion, desertification, and others.

4. Hunting:

Hunting is another threat to nature. It is the killing of animals for food or sport. Hunting leads to the extinction of many species of animals.

5. Mining:

Mining is another major threat to nature. It is the extraction of minerals and other materials from the earth. Mining leads to many problems like soil erosion, deforestation, and others.

As the problems are huge, so the solutions that we need should also be the gigantic. Firstly, it’s the need of an hour that we should stop exploiting nature and start conserving it. We should plant trees, conserve water, create awareness about energy conservation. We should use public transport to reduce pollution. We should stop hunting and save the animals from extinction. We should use recycled products to save the environment.

We should create awareness about the importance of nature conservation. We should stop deforestation and mining. We should use green energy like solar and wind energy. We should create awareness about the importance of conserving nature among people. Only we can save our planet earth by conserving nature. So, my dear friends, start conserving nature from today for a better tomorrow.
